Mrs Scott, a SKA parent, invited Shihan Helen Beattie and I along to a performance of the musical: "Oliver" this afternoon. The play was held at the Edderton Hall in Ross-shire and featured local children. Five of our students were in the play: Mrs Scott's children: Sean, Matthew and Charlotte (pictured as a rose-seller) who attend our Kempo class at Alness.
Also taking part were Sempai Jim Gagan's children: Katie and Ben, who attend our Tain class. Shihan and I thoroughly enjoyed the play, it was nice to see the kids act and sing and to meet the local community.
